Just got this one from a new lot. It shows some promise, but there isn't enough of a legend to search on, and I'm not recognizing the damaged portrait or the reverse image.

AE 21
10.86g

Obverse:

Damaged portrait, my gut says maybe Philip I? Elagabalus?

Reverse:

Some sort of tower or obelisk. Can't figure out what is beneath. Legend is Greek, only legible letters are near the top, maybe "TOL" or "TOA"

ID or a nudge in the right direction greatly appreciated!

I can't say who it might be. There looks like there is a counter mark under the chin though.

Pretty sure it is Elagabalus.
The reverse is depicting Mt Gerazim surmounted by a temple and altar, a stairway to the temple runs up the middle.
Sorry but I don't have enough time to do a more thorough search, hope this helps though.

Elagabalus is right on, thanks! Assuming wildwinds is complete, that reverse of Mt. Gerizim was only used by Elagabalus and Macrinus--the portrait is definitely not Macrinus.
