My first denarius towards a set of the 5 good emperors. Antoninus Pius, pretty easy to find nice, common type. I liked the portrait and the price for this one. Not exactly fine style, but nicely detailed.

Pax reverse. Rome mint.

One of my favorite emperors. Excellent detail, from the reverse the coin dates circa 140 AD.
Rest in Peace

Nice detail on the portrait. I always love being able to date to a short period, but exact year is even cooler.

His consecratio coin with the funeral pyre got me hooked on consecratios. Ironically enough he was buried not cremated.
In many respects he was the best emperor Rome ever had.

An excellent start to your set of five. The more than usual regularility of the flan (in terms of roundness) is a plus.
