I'll go with 65. By the way, what does "investment grade" mean?

Pleased to view your much nicer addition to this tremendous series. Grading coins by photographs through the internet is impossible ... the best we can do is make general observations based upon the images provided. Quote: By the way, what does "investment grade" mean?
For this particular coin ... the potential for future price increases likely begins at TPG certified MS66 and above ... there simply is not enough collector demand for the lovely and historical series to expect price appreciation over time at any lower grade. Alas ... IMHO .... based upon the photographs provided with my caveat above ... this Isabella is likely in the MS63 range ... a lovely example indeed which I hope inspires you to explore more of the classic silver commemorative series. You've had guesses from 63 - 67. It's gotta be in that range.

This is what NGC graded the coin at. In 2005 MS 65 graded in RedBook at $3000.00 2016 Edition $2700. I paid far less than that.

Very nice coin! Congrats on the acquisition! Sorry I missed the chance to guess its grade. It certainly looks like a true gem. As nickelsearcher mentioned, "investment grade" for the Isabella really begins at MS-66. It is at that grade that the coin starts to become comparatively "scarce" when viewing NGC/PCGS population reports A word about using the " Red Book" for pricing... The prices in the Red Book tend to over estimate retail/market prices for coins. For example, the current Greysheet (used by a large number of dealers for pricing) lists the Isabella in MS-65 at $1,825. That is a more realistic price point for the coin vs. the 2016 Red Book value. That said, the price you paid on ebay for the coin was certainly a good value.

Yea Its only worth what someone will pay for it, There are many coins in the MS-65 that are a good investment, I believe over time this too will be so for this coin. Only time will tell. There is always a good chance for a price drop as I have learned with many coins. Still fun to have. It is a beauty!!

Very nice! I have an Isabella in AU. They are great coins. Classic Commemoratives prices have been down and out for decades and I think they are a good value today. If just some of the people that currently fight over modern high mintage commemorative issues would go after low mintage Classics, the prices of these would see healthy gains.
