Now I got myself going through rolls of pennys from the bank. I found now my oldest coin 1891! Did they have mintmark on this year, and where would it be at?

Wow - what a find! - per the "US Coin Facts" in this forum - the 1891 Indian Head cent did not have a mint mark. 47,070,000 were made. The 1908 & 1909 were also minted in San Francisco with the mint mark on the reverse - lower bottom.

Nice find , amassing how they'll still out there .I found a 1903 IHC just a couple of weeks ago searching through 2 rolls of Lincolns.

Thank you! I just ordered a Cherry Pickers Guide to error coins, because I just love finding errors. Got alot to learn though, but it's fascinating finding them:)
