Does Anyone Have A List? (Unc Sets)

unruhjonny Pillar of the Community Canada 514 Posts	Posted 03/08/2016 2:03 pm I am looking to fill some holes I'm my uncirculated sets (the ones in the pilo-film), and am comming across variants, that I may have been aware of, but don't quite have straight. Is there a list that can be found somewhere, or that someoen can share with me which gives the years where more than one set containing the circulation coins? (I don't care about the special sets which don not contain all of the 1c/5c/10c/25c/50c/$1/$2, or parts therein depending on what was issued that year.) As an example, I can see that there are a couple years of "W" or "WP" sets, but I am not certain if non W/WP sets were issued in the same format. Does it go: - 1998 (regular) & "W" - 2000 (regular) & "W" - 2003 (regular; old ob) & "WP-old obverse" Are those the only ones? Thanks in advance for helping me clear this up. You collecting just the main ones or are you collecting the varieties? unruhjonny Pillar of the Community Canada 514 Posts	Posted 03/08/2016 5:05 pm I am not subscribed to Canadian coin news. I am not focused on varieties - just the main ones. It seems that somewhere around 1998 through to a couple years ago, there were a couple versions sold - W or WP as an example; I do not know if for a given year when a W version was minted in Winnipeg, if there was or wasn't the same set minted in Ottowa without the W. Some years I never saw the regular set(eg: 2009), and some years I only saw goofy mousepads, or calenders while holding out for the regular set (eg: 2010). Many new varieties were discovered since but the best reference to the PL Set collectors. A new book is much needed due to alot of new sets and varieties since 2007. Report this Post to the Staff
