Close-Up-Practice

Found this gal sitting on my fence next to my gate. Took a couple weeks ago.

Taken with my Canon Eos T3 with 11mm tube extender and 55-250mm macro lens from just over 2 ft.

I would love to see some of the meta data on this photo... More to the point what the f-stop and shutter speed was... I like the contrast between the bird and the background... Enough focus to not distract from the subject, but enough to give you a great idea of the setting surrounding you in the background...
Rest in Peace

Thanks Guys...It is a pheasant. No it didn't become dinner.

Cj....not sure how to obtain the meta data on pic. Was taken in close-up mode in auto setting. Don't really have time to mess with settings when taking pics this close to wildlife. I just took as many as I could and this one was the best. Tell me how to get it and I will try.

Thanks to joining this site my interest in photography has increased. I will be taking pics of a whole new part of Montana this summer. I've done a lot of scenery and wildlife pics. But thanks to wanting to take descent coin close-ups, I now have what it take to see Montana in the "macro world". This is gonna be a very interesting year in pics.
