Wasn't sure but heard with 3 numbers in serial number should hold on to if and how true that is

On it this morning ain't ya Fuzzy. I would keep the bill I think it's interesting but not because of the 3 7s. Collectors usually look for at least 5 numbers I believe, or repeating, radar or birthdays.

Thank you Brushy Bandit I will be holding on too it, was more less looking for input and thoughts about it. I just recently started showing interest in old bills and coins. Appreciate the feedback.

It is worth saving, although because of the amount of circulation that it's seen it will never be worth much more than face value. It is a great note to start a collection with if you intend to do so.

Wsp8418, might want to check the Back Plate number. Serial number makes this one a Series 1934 Dark Blue-Green Seal; IF the back plate number is 585 or higher then it would be a Series 1934 Mule Dark Blue-Green seal. Post us a picture of the reverse if you will. Thanks. And definitely a keeper for now.
