I bought this coin in a group of old European coins recently. I've tried to identify it online and have had no success. I think the date is 1618 and it's hammered silver. Thanks for anything you might contribute!

I'm still trying to find a coin like it online and can't. Does anyone have an idea of what this coin is worth? Thanks!

@tamarin, there is at least one comp for sale on vcoins. it is in much better condition than yours. my old Krause lists a retail price of about $15 for yours, but clearly the market has gone up a little since the mid 1990s.

KM# 71.1. The 2014 Std Catalog shows it at $35(VG), $100(F) & $170(VF). Yours appears VF, nice piece. But, Sweden generally not so popular...suspect less than 1/3 cat value on ebay.

Thanks for the info, yugotex! It was in a group of mainly Russian copper and a few silver 1700's to 1800's.
