I gotta ask,

"Is there someone between me and the Mint to let them know, or is it my responsibility to call them and tell them SHUTTER DOWN!"

After reading this, I took a look at mine. This is the best I could get with a USB scope. It looks double to me in the angle shots tipped about 20 deg but not straight on. It could be the light...really hard to tell since I can't dim is more. Can't see any of this with my loupe, though. Thoughts?

In two of your images it seems visible and the other two, it does not. Are you seeing it clearly in-person? The chin and the number 2 doubling?
Thanks,
Robert

This is one of those times where a microscope objective would be really handy. I can't tell if they're double with the naked eye or via a loupe.....I just don't know.

Call me crazy, but I actually called the mint. After some thought it appeared to me that there was really not going to be anyway for the US Mint at Denver to become aware of this unless they discovered it also.
SO!, I called them.
I called the US MINT 1-800 number. The woman on the line took it seriously and informed me that the information would be routed to the proper people, in Washington DC, to investigate the claim.
Time to snatch up ALL you can!! :) :)

On Andy's coin I see Machine damage on the Nose and probably on other areas. So it is not the regular coin, but a regular Machine damaged coin.

It has been a year since this posted originally... Has there not been any more findings of this error on Lincolns chin? I found a few and kept them. I also obtained about 10 rolls that I assumed were ALL containing this error, due to the frequency of the few I found. I have also found a 2015 that appears to have a similar chin.
Any comments?
Thanks,
Robert

All the ones I've seen from the Denver mint have those master die doubling on them. The one I did find that didn't was a later die state. So I figured it wore off the die at that point.
