with Druu, There have been a few nickels on here with that damage, although it was on the reverse of the others. strange it seems to be only on nickels
to the forum. Both coins seem to have incused marks on them, rather than raised. Usually incused marks mean something happened to a coin after it was struck. Better luck on the next one.
The nickel was caught in a coin counting machine, thus the circular impressions. It was adjusted to count something a bit thinner. I have seen many of them, especially the 1964's.
