Just found this while looking through some coins.
I believe this is a die crack. What do you think? Has anyone seen this one before?

Die crack with a die chip developing on the head.

Very common for the year and amongst Shield cents for that matter. Someone here suggested perhaps the dies are worked harder on the Zincolns (zinc cores). Not sure how true that is, but it seems that cracks develop quite often on these cents. Front or back.
