This is my first post :) just got this account yesterday! Anyways this is a 1944 penny and I was wondering if some of you guys can help me determine a grade on this wonderful coin!

Slight bit of circulation slide, original luster still hiding in recessed and protected areas, a lot of fingerprints, in the middle to high AU range, I'd say 58.

AU50 maybe. It is not attractive because so many fingerprints.
I would find a better example without so many marks.

Quite common even in this condition. the coin is slightly circulated . been handled many times , lots of original luster on coin. AU-55 .

Too bad about all the fingerprints, AU-53. The good news is these are cheap in MS red, finding a replacement is easy.

Im not just starting, Ive been collecting for about 2 years now and have a full safe of silver and other coins. Just wanted to put that out there.

Copper is different from silver or gold. It is all about numismatic value with little metal value in it. So the condition that it is in is very important in its value. A G grade may worth $1 and MS 67 may be $20,000
