Nice toning but I see wear on the high points.

It still has a nice cartwheel. The hair looks a little flat in a few places. Not sure if it is wear or a weak strike. The back looks BU to me. Just unsure about the obverse.

Not Unc. Rub on the high spots and no real luster.

AU58 and looks original, complete with the usual milk spots.

It's an AU for sure and not Mint State. There are too many rub marks in the center on both sides. The two sets of photos do make it look like two different coins. The first one looks like an AU-55. The second one looks like an AU-50. Most of the time I've the two major grading services use AU-53 for very expensive coins that fell between AU-50 and 55. I have not see extensive use for it on lesser valued pieces.

It's very close to the MS, only slightly circulated to the AU-58 grade. The railroad track on the cheek and the long horizontal scratch on the obverse are immediately visible and would affect desirability. I'd pass on this one myself, especially if they are looking for anything remotely like MS money.

Agree. Could well be MS (great luster) but obverse lacks appeal to me.

weakly struck obverse and is missing quite a bit of luster. I think it could be MS as well but just barely at MS60

Struck flat, good luster, trace wear. Bit of a slider I'll say AU-58 but wouldn't be surprised to see this coin in an MS-62 slab.

I'm seeing only a weak strike, could be different in hand, I'd grade it MS62.
