I was thumbing around some listings today and came across this bronze of Caracalla. It says that it is a sestertius but I believe it's actually a provincial from Thrace (see vcoins link below ebay link to see what coin I think it actually is). I'm not worried about the denomination though, I'm concerned about whether it's genuine or not. I checked the NFSL and didn't see the seller's name and it looks genuine to me, but I don't know Roman bronze as well as I know Roman silver, so I thought I'd ask your all's opinion before I plunge in.

Actually the Serdica (Thrace) mint listing is correct...For comparison:

Good to know. I just noticed the shipping though and that plus what it'll probably increase in price makes "oh that snake looks cool" not worth buying for me anymore.

For my education, if anyone sees anything that screams 'fake' I'd like to know though.
