I spent several hours today looking at Lincolns with a loupe and (after realizing I have nicknames for different years) I was thinking it would be really cool to have a thread about what peoples favorite coins/years are. I like 95 and 99 LMCs because of their sharp strike. (Sorry if this has been asked before!)

I like Jeff ( Jefferson nickels). I prefer 38-64 issues but I also like and collect all from 1938 to 2015. I haven't seen the 2016 issue yet but I'm sure I will like it also.

The focus of my collection is coins dated '82 :) This past week I added my first 1482 dated as well as a 1382 of a ruler whose reign was a short few months of that year. I've most been doing world coins recently, but a pretty US '82 coin finds its way "home" from time to time.

US coins pre-1965 is the area I'm concentrating on now, although I do add an occasional ancient, Byzantine, or Crown to my collection if I accidentally fall in love with one of those beautiful hussies.

Very nice. Yeah, I should have added that I also like Jeffersons (mostly memorials), State and ATB Quarters and am a very new Morgan lover, but only have picked up a few of those, so far. Brushy Bandit, I'm not sure what you're asking? I go by d_dob here and on Vamworld. I have sold a few things on ebay under my nick there which is the same as here except with an a in the middle. (I hope that's OK to say in this post!)
