Found this today. Looks like Abe has a little to much copper on the top of his head. Also looks like a Bie. Any opinions would be great.

It is a BIE. Have you tried looking on the COC website to see which one it is. You have a nice chip marker on the left wheat ear that may make identifying easier. Just an opinion, it may be glue on Abe's head.

I agree that it looks like it could be glue on the skull, but, you've definitely got a BIE and a nice die chip on the reverse there, TommyJet.

I've got a nice BIE on a '55 LWC also, and I believe it's on a Denver mint, too.

I love those die chips on the reverse of the 55's! (I've got several of them, too.) They might be common, but, they're sure fun to look at.

Another angle of the head. Definitely copper not glue.

It might be a later stage of the LDB4-1955D-027B. The 4th stage Die crack extends above the hair line. If you can email the images I'll take a closer look. It helps if the images have the proper orientation.
