*** Edited by Staff to remove YELLING. All capital letters is the internet version of yelling. Please don't do it in titles or posts. ***Hi Everyone - this is my first post proper after introducing myself! Believe it or not I was doing some building work on a house built in the very early 1900s and exposed this coin when demolishing a chimney (please see attached photos. Can anyone please tell me what I have found and give me an estimate of value please?

You have found yourself a Chinese REPLICA coin that was recently manufactured to fool novice collectors and defraud uninformed members of the public.
(Sorry to give you the bad news about the find, but welcome to the community!)

I didn't know the Chinese had copied the pattern Trade dollars as well. There is a very small (very tiny) chance that this is a pattern in white metal. If it really did come from an old chimney, unless you are pulling our collective legs, it could happen. I doubt that it is, but before you give up on it a better picture or an examination by an expert would be in order.

If it was a genuine pattern coin the details would be much clearer and the base metal would not be peeking through the plating.
The pictured coin is 100% counterfeit.

As has been repeated, it's just a fake of a very famous pattern.
