Are those US halves or Canada halves? Their machines accept all Canadian denominations! Not US coins

I have not tried those in their machines, however there are no "Rolls" for either 50 cent pieces or the old nickel dollars, so you could not actually roll them up.

I juts take them in a baggy and take them to the teller. the most I have taken is about $400. You could just take them into the bank, and ask them if it takes them.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the machine takes them or not (I'd be surprised if they did), but I just take them in as I go through a bunch (couple hundred at a time - I haven't had as much time available due to other projects, for personal searching) in baggies. I asked at my branch how they'd like them brought in first and that's how they said they liked them. My LCS said another branch of the same bank likes them rolled, so it's good to ask.

I took a picture of the receipt from last time and after checking it again: no the machine won't accept half and Nickel Dollars.
