I go to various banks in Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Shermans Dale, Landisburg, New Bloomfield, New Cumberland, etc. & all throughout Central Pennsylvania. Who else coin roll "hunts" in this area? And can we please establish one or two banks, NOT every single bank, for cashing junk in? I have went to so many banks, & right when I think I found a good one, I come back a week later and notice that there's no coppers, or wheats, or 2009s, or S-mints, etc. If you live in this area of Penmsylvania and CRH, for the benefit of both of us, where do you drop off your sorted coins at?

I recently figured out that right there in P.A coin is being stripped of anything worth collecting.
I stack and collect in my ebay travels I came across a bulk lot seller of copper cents username lists Harrisburg. Not only does this seller tens of thousands of copper cents he also has all the unusual items listed from time to time that only a guy with access to all the coin before its rerolled.

Some of his listing are for large lots of items that I believe could only have been accidently left in jars of change or not realized.

Lots of keys
Lots of religious tokens
Lots of guitar picks
Lots of chuck e Cheese
Lots of decent silver
Lots of occasional gold coin
Lots of parking tokens

Do you see the pattern here as I do? I even read an article about someone renting space in the armored car warehouse to run through the coins.

Found him its Webcoins. I forget he has lots of SD cards as well. All these things add up to items missed in a coin jar prior to dumping.

Wow, I hadn't heard of that before. I never even thought of CRHing on such a large scale.

The "guy" who is selling all that stuff is actually a coin counting company that has a bunch of machines at the local banks in central PA. The machine dumps into a central hopper that is on wheels. When its full, the tellers roll it into the vault and roll an empty one out. The company picks up twice a week and takes the hoppers to a central location to sort. So what ever people dump into the machine at the bank eventually winds up at the sorting location.
