I bought 2 packs! I noticed the same errors.
I can't tell if its just the angle...but some of the letters look doubled, anyone else see it? Refer to Picture: 2, 3 and 4.
Here are a few other errors to look out for....
Take a look on top of the woman's hat who's placing the ballot in the box...2 of my coins have a die crack on the top of her hat.
Also, take a look at the 1 in 2016, I have one coin that has a cap on the top.
I have more coming in, let you know how those are.

Well now as you've mentioned it, at first glance I noticed that my 5-coin set seemed very poorly stuck as well and I admit I was disappointed in their low quality appearance.
If this is the norm, any errors become the standard. I'll take another look at mine.

I've also seen die cracks off of the tip of the hat..
Probably a common sighting on this new loonie..

Of the ten I have one has the die crack from the hat on the reverse as noted by Devlec.. Can't get a decent pic of it through the plastic. None have any cracks or flaws on the obverse. One set has the nicest quality coins I have ever received in a for face value circulation set.

A small sampling, aside from minor die cracks around the lettering that I didn't photograph . Die crack on woman's hat. Also common on all of them are various levels of pits and discolouration, likely grease splotches. Closeup. The Queen's not looking very good either.. The Cud atop the "1" as well:

In my 5 pack I have three with Cuds above the 1.....one perfect 1 and this 1 seems like the Cud has been removed.

Wizbang that's really cool! But I wonder, considering a Cud is caused by a gouge or dent in the die, is your example later (repaired) or earlier (the cause of the Cud)? Either which way, appears the two are an example of a die progression.

Just an examples of poor quality control at Winnipeg, how hard is it with todays technology to create a nice problem free coin.
