I am a very casual collector with a love for Asian coins. I have picked up several lots recently and in one lot that I picked up locally, I have found two Cash that have mint marks that I do not recognize.

The first one, I believe is the Boo Yon mint mark, but the top part of the mark is different that I have on other coins in my collection with the Boo Yon mint mark.

The second one might be too worn to identify. As worn as it is, I cannot come up with anything that is even close.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Doug

It would be a little helpful to see the obverses too. For example, is the first coin a Qian Long tong bao? Several varieties include a "y-shaped yun"

Here are the obverses of both coins, in the same order as the reverses posted above.

ok thanks for showing the obv pics. that definitely helps. first coin is a Qian Long tong bao minted under Emporer Gao Zong. I believe that it was minted in Shunning (Yunnan province) between 1764 and 1770 as the y shape on the yun and square shape head on the tong are diagnostic.

Second coin is same emperor and thus minted 1736-1795. As you note, it is pretty heavily worn, but my best guess is minted in Ili, Xinjiang Province. The rev of these coins have the character "i" on rev right which kinda looks like our number "3". Hopefully, someone else on CCF can shed additional light.
