I have always been the type of collector that has chosen the best coin that I could afford. Now that I am older this is usually coins in MS-63 or higher grade.

I have been photographing my collection, right now I am working on the Lincoln Wheat Cents that I inherited from my father. I have heard about lowball coins, it took me a while to figure this out. Now my question is this; is this considered a lowball coin? If so then I have several that are in similar condition. Also it looks like I will be upgrading my LWC collection as soon as I can.

Your Lincoln is extremely worn but I believe the date must be readable for a lowball designation . I don't see 1914 on this . all I see is 19 .

In hand the date is slightly more readable. This photo is a result of my lowball skills and lower quality equipment.

It might low ball, but there are so many early date Lincoln's available in low ball with a much smaller number of low ball collectors that there value is quite low.

Agree. Lowballs are common among nickel and small copper coins; their value is very small. The most interesting lowballs are usually the larger silver coins.
