Help 1883 V Nickel Error I Think

i think I got a 1883 V nickel that has been made wrong, it has a mild image on the front, and nothing on the back except two marks, I think there where it was pressed or something, theres no v , just two indentions both the same size about a quarter inch apart , and quarter inch high or less, what do you all think
