Found this among other weird coins/ objects in a box on a property I was helping to clean up. I really don't know much and can't find much information on this object but what I do know that it has the Latin alphabet there. It also has astrological symbols, both on the front and back, though those on the back are constellations, rather than the symbols used to represent celestial bodies.

Welcome to CCF and thanks for posting your find. Doesn't look at all damaged by its unconventional method of storage.

Looks like a zodiac calendar token. A word of caution that Googling "zodiac token" will get you into NSFW territory quickly.

You're right: it is weird, but I have no idea what it is. What else was in the box?
Rest in Peace

It's one of the many "Magical" tokens designed for sale by the same cranks that write books on the subject. I have a friend who is into all this mystic "stuff" and it absolutely amazes me at the number of people drawn in to actually believing in that nonsense.

Each of the symbols and alignments means something, but you would have to check with a bunch of different systems to know which one this is.

Value is about no dollars and no sense.

No different than those who write books on some god who died on a cross and rose again...it absolutely amazes me at the number of people drawn in to actually believing in that nonsense.

This looks to be an amalgamation of several traditions and belief systems. if you were to ask ten 'experts' you will get 8 1/2 different meanins.

There is no doubt that it of recent manufacture, with an applied patina. probably made of some alloy of zinc die cast material.
Could be a decoder, that comes with some of the systems of astrological forecasting. Either true historical system or a modern made up one by somebody.
It could also be used in one of the hundreds of modern rpg's,card games with the use of gaming dice or multiples of regular 6 sided die.
From the side with the numbers and letters one might need a table of use to make the information clear.
Another possibility is some add in to a mystic story fantasy, science fiction, Hobbit, style writings or on line type games.
There are collectors of the mystic type tokens, but as it has already been said with many of the items posted it is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it at the LCS it would be in either the .25,.50 bin
