Don, nice bunch of silvers. The reverse (voyageurs) seems to come alive with the PL strike.

Love the '58 & 60. Your 1964 looks like the "Missing dot" variety. Zoell #S526o

Absolutely! Newer proof coins look almost artificial compared to the natural attractiveness of those older PL cameo silver dollars. Thanks for sharing!

Nice! They must look amazing in hand. Pics can never do justice to PL cameo dollars.

Thanks for all the comments; They are hard to photograph for sure.
I think I like the 1960 the most. The '64 is a missing Dot variety. I have both Var 1 and Var 2 PL 1965's. Am a big fan of the blowout specials at CA. As I get into the 1950's they are increasingly rare and expensive.

Very nice collection SilverDon. Looks like most of them are cameo also. The "Kings" are not the only expensive PL's, the 53's are also expensive. What year are you going to recognise as the first year of Silver Dollar PL's? Charlton start at 1953, ICCS start at 1950 and some including CA start at 1949. I have started my collection from 1949 on.

That's a tough one JimmyD, I see PCGS grading some 1949's as PL, but I understand that their standards are different, it may be decided on the price of a coin, whether it is a fit for my collection. Charlton starts at 1953. It would be nice to have some of those old sets in the white cardboard and cello.
