letters are smaller, I have looked for almost 2 hours on the internet for something about this. I know there is info about it because I have saw it before but cannot find it tonight because I need it. So on that note, is this normal? is it an error? if it is an error, is it an important error, minor error, a no big deal error or not an error at all/ then on the obverse side you can see MD mint mark with a small dot inside the mintmark if that is anything Thank you

The circulation didn't help this coin, but I feel there was also some machine damage on those devices that thinned them a bit during the strike. Thus the disfiguring of the circulation made them look different.
