some type of trade token. 2 1/2 cent and all I can make out on the other side is W G. but could be a letter or symbol in between...

With out any more info it is what is called a maverick token, generally unless you get lucky searching in the TokenCatalog.com or somebody has first hand knowledge of it you msy never know any thing more. It looks like the outline of an A or the most common symbol is &

what kind of information could help. I found it in an older house in NE Missouri. It was with Missouri tax tokens...

Then start in the location(village,town,city) where it was found in the state listings of TokenCatalog.com

Also, if you could improve the quality of the obv pic, it looks to me like there is more than just WAG or W&G. Or maybe the first letter is a V not a W?
