Look at the knees, clearly siver plated. And even the weight is not correct!

Thanks Petrus, how do you tell by looking at the knees that the coin is silver plated ?

@numister, I think that Petrus means that the "coin" that he linked to is plated (not yours). you can see a bit of the underlying base metal poking through the worn spots such as the knees on that coin.

Haha ok thanks for clarifying, so whenever you see worn portions of a coin and see a different colour means it's plated ? Could it be its just discoloured from whatever it was that caused the wear ?

No not really, it can also be normal oxidation (patina).
But a green color on a 'real' silver coin is suspect. Or, as the coin in the link, the yellow color is cleary beneath the top metal.
