This thread (topic 257151) referenced incredible prices being sought on ebay for certain serial numbers.

This may be a very broad topic, but how much premium exists for Radar notes, single digit notes, etc.?

Here in Canada radar notes are not as popular as they used to be (or so I was told).

Would anyway actually pay 5, 10, 100, 1000 times face value for such a note? That is, assuming the note type itself is otherwise a fairly common one.

Personally, radar notes don't do much for me, although I do have some and didn't pay much over face to get them.

With that being said, I do collect serial #12 notes, and have been known to pay 100 times face for uncirculated examples of this common type note. Would love to own a solid serial and a complete ladder serial note one day.

There's a seller on ebay selling 2-$100 bills with sequential serial numbers for $240. Go figure?
