OcalaFlorida, The right leg of your R on top right pic has a double line in it that looks STRONGER than any of the Wexler pics... Maybe a "NEW" one? In Fact, the R, The T, and the Y all seem to have a double line in them, on the top right picture!!

Is this also a variety of the 2016 DDO with DD on the front? What is the correct term for double die on front and rear by the way?

Note the shape the centers on the 'B' on LIBERTY. That tells the whole story. Not from the same die. Note how the letters on LIBERTY look a bit like an over inflated bicycle tire? MD on the 'R' on LIBERTY SW area.

Sorry gents my books came in and I have been reading a lot. Is there some way while reading anyone uses that helps collectors not blur. I read quite a bit then some of my learning becomes totally mixed up with off topics. I am thinking you just cant read all the books and become an expert, well not me on this case. It has become apparent that even some DD are not very noticeable at all. Since this is about DD coins may I post a Quarter of mine below and Inquire of its being DD or just slug. Perhaps many coins get just obliterated with scrap pieces slung all over it. Does this just destroy the coin and its value or how is something filed in this case slug, trash? What exactly determines a coins value in a damaged state? I have been looking around and spotting coins of the basic same nature of defect, or mint error one being say 5$ and the other being 200$ why when they seem to be visually identical.
