At this point in time, the circulated coin collection market isn't exactly brimming with health and vitality. I notice reasonably priced, near mint or better coins constantly going unsold on ebay, or dealers at coin shows with huge inventory but very few buyers. If increased mintage of 7000 50c pieces happens to attract any additional collectors for whatever reason, it's beneficial for all concerned. The hobby needs more collectors.
