Hi, we have a $100 with a Repeater note 37113711 Series 2009A. I have heard different cool things about this repeater and the Series. This bill seems special. Almost paid my rent with it, but it is now for auction. How much do you think a Collector will give for it? Thank you in advance for your reply. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Hi, LF, and . Hope you enjoy your stay here at CCF! That Ben seems to be in good shape but the lighting makes it difficult to tell. The bottom corners look a little soft. Is that just shadows/lighting? As for value have you perchance looked at completed $100 2009A repeater listings on ebay? That will give you a good indication of the market. One way or another you know you'll get at least $100 for it!

aboard LF This note is cool, it is a RADAR REPEATER (see link). I myself just went through quite a few 100s and "Fancy serial numbers" are not that easy to find. As far as condition goes, that note has only been in circulation for about 7 months so it shouldn't be too bad. Just put it between 2 heavy books for awhile. Again, good find! http://coolserialnumbers.com/FancyS...Numbers.aspx

Cool note, but it is not a RADAR REPEATER as stated above, just a repeater.
If I found it, I'd be tempted to keep it but personally & respectfully I would not pay above face to own it, although some would.
Welcome to CCF

Yea, not many are paying for fancy serials in that high of a denomination. Wayy too much money to tie up in just a serial number. People looking for fancy's usually go for the $1 denomination. Serial number is a serial number, looks just as good on the $1 I agree with Steve I definitely wouldn't pay anything for it, Personally I wouldn't even keep it. but to each his own... GL

Tend to agree that it's a lot of dough to put aside for what it is - unique in it's own way, but not uncommon mathematically. And don't forget to calculate time, listing fee, and 12%+ commission if you list on ebay!
