Only had one nice Buffalo; this is #2. 1916, in a PCGS holder. The reverse is rotated, but I am not sure if that is normal for these coins, or if it is a particular quirk of this one. How do you think PCGS graded it? It's quite attractive in hand, with a bit of toning. I find it hard to photograph. Thanks! Great reverse. Unfortunately the obverse gets more weight nowadays when grading. And it's weakly struck.
MS-63, maybe -64, if there's no worn spots.

Hard to tell from these photos but the dullness on the buffalo's shoulder, back thigh and tail make me think AU-58.

Very monotone photos doesn't show much differentiation between the details and the fields, so it's hard to tell for sure if this is a very high AU-58, or a MS-64. I'll go for the 64.

I agree with the comments that the Buffalo side is a bit nicer than the Indian side :) PCGS MS63

Very nice, I would have said 64/65 as there are no minor dings apparent in the fields, so I think the grade may be a bit conservative.
The weakness in the buffalo is likely a striking issue, not a wear issue.

I have an AU 1916 buffalo that has similar color. Nice coin.
