Hello all. Thanks for your patience as I try and navigate through this process. I acquired a blank sided Wheat penny and the one side kind of looked suspicious. What do you guys think?

Someone sanded off the obverse. Note the rim on the reverse of the coin. It shows that it was not struck that way. PSD

PMD. It is impossible for your cent to not have been struck by both dies when it was minted...

Great quality pictures though. Shows the detail. This post reminded me how much I have always loved the font on the reverse of wheat pennies.
