If you are talking about the color of the cent, it looks like toning caused by environmental exposure. If you are asking about something else, please tell us what you are seeing.

Looks like someone stripped off the copper plating or added zinc to this coin. If you check on youtube, there are videos on how to alter a cents color. PSD
