Every box of Half dollars I ever bought came in $10 rolls. Every Roll I have ever bought at a bank or Casino has been $10.

A while back I bought a large lot of bicentennial coins. Included in the lot was a shotgun roll of BU half dollars. Not unusual but the roll was $20 face.
is this a fed/Mint issued roll or is some third party out there rolling $20 rolls of Half dollars?
There was at one point some printing on the roll other than just $20 but its faded to the point I cannot read any of it.

After I search halves I always put then in a $20.00 paper roll, it just makes it easy for me to return them to the bank. Your bank or credit union should have those paper rolls if you ask for them. However, as far as I know the contractors that roll the halves for the mint only us the $10.00 shot gun rolls.

I've received $20 rolls of halves a few times from the bank. Nothing special. Just longer wrappers.

None of the banks around me will take rolls that are apparently wrapped by individuals. So a $20 roll would not be accepted. You would have to break them all open and they then would run them through a coin counter. Way to many people trying for the short rolls.
