As I posted few days ago I was planning to get some nice silver coins for my collection that had so far only finds from circulation...
...and one of them (the others I will post on the Ike topic ) it's that one ,
I'm really curious to see face to face how it looks like ...
I have been studying a lot about double dies errors , there are 8 classes only for lincoln cents if I'm not wrong .
Now I started to check on Ikes double die types but can't find nothing about triple ones

pictures are from the seller's listing , the coin should be arriving this week,
what exactly triple die means? Thanks all!

I had never heard of a tripled die until now, but it makes sense considering it used to take 3 or 4 presses against the hub to create the die. Cool.

Any chance you could provide close-ups of the tripling?

I don't think this is the same tdo as yours but have a look. Does your R of liberty have a peg leg like this one? I don't think so but take a look and compare markers when you get it in hand... Either way it will show you what a triple die obverse is...

I like the score in the ANACS slab. You can find some bargains there from time to time.
