Would appreciate some help on this coin. Just ordered it and would like to know if my eyes were playing tricks on me or if this could be double die reverse?

Many thanks

Looks like J13b reverse late state. Could be 54a or 54b on the obverse. Hard to tell from the photos. Maybe you can go to Dr. Haxby's site and compare the actual coin to determine which it is.

When you get the coin, check the top of the C of CANADA for repunching. The 54a has wider repunching than the 54b. I think that's the best marker to tell them apart.
