VG10 That was about the condition and price of my first Barber for my half dollar type set. I have since replaced it with a slightly better coin.

Maybe F-12 if all letter of liberty are at least partially visible.

That's great you bought a coin, but it's too bad you think 1918, 1919, and 1920 are 'key dates' in the Wheat cent type.

I know it's a Barber and I know what key dates are. I'm not going to provide my own expertise to grade your coins until your listings reflect the ethics I consider a bare minimum for selling coins. I just don't want to take a chance on having my judgments associated with one of your ebay listings.

You are spending money to slab a $12 dollar coin ? Slabbing does not make a coin any more valuable.

I am having it slabbed so my wife or son get all the money that they can out of a 40 year collection, when I am not here anymore. I work on Saturdays at a coin shop so the owner can go to shows and one of the good thing about it I get a little cash and 2 coin slabbed a month free this the reason it went of to NGC

Ahh.. free is a different story. Makes no sense spending $25-30 to slab a $12 coin. Still, I would have found a more worthy coin instead of a common date Barber in the VG/F condition, IMO. It's kinda like putting a $3000 alarm system on a $500 car.
