It looks like it was buried for a while, as so many of these seem to have been. In terms of wear alone, I would say VG.

hm.. I tend to disagree even though I'm not very familiars with these coins.
Can you post an XF coin to compare?

The one on the NGC page looks to be straddling the high XF / low AU line. XF would have visible wear, but overall problem free with either traces of mint luster, or at least smooth, clean surfaces.

Yours has portions of the legend beneath the eagle worn smooth; IMO that would prevent anything higher than a VG grade.

VG would be very harsh I think but to much wear on this coin to grade higher then F-VF
no feathers on the neck and tail and parts of the inscription is gone like finn mentioned
little to no details on the crown
I've come to know some of these where just weakly struck but still they exibit better qualities and surfaces

nway I still like the coin ,after 200 and some years it stil has some nice features
