Pete2226 Pillar of the Community United States 3331 Posts	Posted 04/09/2016 2:32 pm Photos of the Obverse and Reverse of the whole coin would help. The black stripes could be a fingerprint. Could be, also, an improper ally mix. Just guessing without more complete images. Can you say what you think might be an error? to cCF! coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/09/2016 9:51 pm It looks like a normal 1917 coin. Not the notchings on the 1s in the date on this image. Also the split inside loop of the 9 and thicker top on the 7. You coin doesn't have any of that. Report this Post to the Staff
