Hey guys I could really use some help on identifying if this is in fact an error coin or not I got some ok pictures the best without getting to flustered lol anyways HELP!! please and thank you in advance :)

Photos of the Obverse and Reverse of the whole coin would help. The black stripes could be a fingerprint. Could be, also, an improper ally mix. Just guessing without more complete images. Can you say what you think might be an error?

I will get some more pictures :) I believe it may be A DDO I have compared to other pictures of coins with the error and it has a lot of similarities

With more photos . are you talking about the flatness of the date or possible doubling ?

It looks like a normal 1917 coin.

Not the notchings on the 1s in the date on this image. Also the split inside loop of the 9 and thicker top on the 7. You coin doesn't have any of that.

It is not the DDO for that year. Check the link below and you can see the hub doubling on the DDO, but your coin is just a normal one.
