While looking through craigslist I found a listing with an 1882 Morgan dollar ( He does not specify the mintmark ). There is also a '26 Peace dollar, a '43 and '44 Walking Liberty half, 1912 barber half and an 1867 2 cent peice (there is also a 1951 Franklin half not pictured & none of the coins have specified mintmarks).

Do all the coins look real? I ask because he only wants $35 for $44 in silver melt or more depending on mintmarks.

Thanks for any help,

The images are a little small, and we would need closer pictures. Maybe only have a few coins per image.

Can't get better pictures sadly, these are taken right off the original listing. I could ask him to get better pictures though.

The top coin is basically unidentifiable, and the reverse of the Morgan dollar is hard to see.
If the coin at the top is another Walking Liberty half dollar, the melt value of the group is about $40.

$35 doesn't sound way off, but he made add some to the shipping.

Top coin is a 1912 barber half. The coins are local pickup (about a 10-20 minute drive).

personal opinion: I would take the risk at $35

I figured it wouldn't hurt to go look at them in person, and there is a possibility the Morgan is a CC mint ( The gu seems like he does not know much about coins, calling the Peace dollar a Morgan and the barber a walking Liberty)

Do it. Even with the $10 or so in gas you'll spend it's still worth it. Can't tell anything with regards to authenticity from those pics though... go have some fun and take a mini road trip. Don't forget to take some extra cash and ask what else he's got

I'd go for it. Be careful though, it IS craigslist.

Whenever I do deals I sometime bring someone with me as backup....normally I bring my father who has a conceal and carry pistol permit just in case someone tries anything. I'd get this lot it seems worth it.
