It is showing the reduction of those devices. Note the nose. MD is present. I would like to see a closer view of the face. It maybe only MD or a DDO with MD. Hard to tell with the images provided so far.

Let me work on that image. Tough to image through this plastic, the highlights get intensified even as I adjust the white balance.

Here's a few more images, hopefully they will help you coop. Another straight on shot and one shot offset to the side.

I'm definitely not seeing tripling in these images, like posted in the original. I'm with another poster thinking about reflections for one and MD for the rest.....but I'm not anywhere close to an expert on these.

I am 100% positive that it's MD with the new images.

WOW, I am amazed at how different these pics looks!. I do not see any "tripling" now either... Very interesting difference. I think the lip area looks like true doubling and the nose looks more like MD... Glad I am not trying to decide to buy it off of these photos and only have ten seconds to decide :) Thanks for posting!, Robert

Yes, looks similar, but the example in that picture shows stronger MD.
Roberthas, it was because of the reflection/glare on the coin. Pictures can be deceiving.

The photo of the MD is off of a business strike example. The tough part about this whole thing is that there is nothing to compare my example to. What exactly does a MD doubled profile Kennedy look like on an SMS coin? I've come up empty looking for suitable SMS machine doubled reference photos. It might just live the rest of it's life in the government holder...well, as long as I'm around lol.

So what's the verdict? I'm still convinced at the moment it's MD.

It is machine damage during the strike. Looks just like the example above.

I agree, the first image looked promising, but the others look like machine damage. Lighting can be tricky sometimes.
