This was found by a friend of mine. There is a small piece missing at the top which makes us think it was used as a pendant. There is the Queen's head on both sides. Anyone know what it is?

It is not kosher!

Put that aside, it looks like it's a fantasy jewellery piece - something that's well used in the Middle East. In order to avoid damaging precious coins, sometimes jewelers make fantasy objects that look similar to circulated coins.

Interesting! I did think the lack of a discernible date and the double-headedness were a bit odd... Do you think it has much value as a non-coin collectable?
