Hi:

I just found this 1972 while searching thru bank rolls yesterday.
This would be my second 1972 ddo- still not the BIG ONE, but pretty nice just the same.

Opinions would be appreciated- if a DDO, what one would it be- the first one I have is a DDO-3.

Thanks,
Chuck

Judging from what I see, it sure looks like you found something!
I think I see doubling on LIBERTY too, but I know others will ask for sharper pics.

Looks to me like FS#1c - 033.58 (8-O-I) as seen in the CPQ. Called Die #8.

Die #2 has more of a spread on LIBERTY than Die #8.

Looks like die # 8. But that die left a couple of gouges above the T's in Trust above the left half of the cross bar. Take some images of those areas and see if they have the gouges there?

Die #3 and die#8 are so nearly identical, it really takes the right markers to tell them apart. This coin is one of those two.

Real nice coin and find. I see Die 8. The G, O,and D in GOD look to me to be different on dies 5 and 8. . One coin appears shifted CW, the other CCW, the opposite direction from the other.

Could be my eyesight or Cpickers photos tho. Nice coin...A Keeper. G...

A BIG THANKS to all that responded!!

I checked out the T in trust and I do not see any gouge marks at all above the t anywhere.

I'll try and post a new pic later.

Thanks again

Chuck
