Bought a lot of European coins today as culls (and priced accordingly), of which quite a few were from various German states. Here's some of the better ones. I think I know what a few are, the rest I'll have to research unless somebody wants to identify them. The one at the upper left looks to be actually a medal of some sort. These were all supposed to be coppers/bronzes but the lower left and lower right ones would seem to be silver.

Some very nice coins there for a cull lot!

Bottom right does have my interest. Is that a 1/21 thaler? 1763? Could be something very special.

The rest are reasonably common-ish, probably in the $3-15 range each for value. Sounds like you might have done quite well on this lot.

Nice group. You have the start of a Coat of Arms collection.

I have about 60 German States coins but the average condition of yours is conspicuously better than the average condition of mine.

Nice group of german state divisionary coins.
The top row are obviously Baden, Prussia and Braunschweig.
Middle row are Nassau, Prussia and Rostock.
The bottom row middle is a Sachsen Meiningen issue I think, the Schilling is a Prussia issue for East Prussia.

I think you mean bottom left. It may look like a "21" but it's in fact a "24" and I can't see any date on it at all.

At well less than $1 each, it was pretty much a no-brainer.

Thank you, GERMANICVS, for the identifications.

Here's one last specimen that I had overlooked -

For 1$ each that was quite a bargain. I especially like the prussian schilling. It somehow looks nicely raw. The 1/24 Prussian Thaler with no date being visible was likely minted between 1753 and 1763. The date should be below the denomination and in my opinion it looks like a 6 down there so the only year this coin was minted with a 6 in it is 1763.

Plus: This type of 1/24 thaler is one of the better types. The type you have posted from 1782 is quite common, especially here in Germany ;)

Nice coins!
