New Here Need Some Advice On Serial Numbers For 2009 $100 Bills

I came across these and have kept them in great shape. One is a radar and the other is a low serial number. Report this Post to the Staff

babysitr Pillar of the Community United States 1339 Posts	Posted 04/15/2016 8:46 pm Both are really nice notes, 100's are hard to keep in collections,but if you can afford to,why not! 8600 is still a little high to call a low serial number,but it is a 2009. you can try on e-bay, but after all the fees,dont expect a high profit.IMHO Report this Post to the Staff
SteveInTampa Pillar of the Community United States 4637 Posts	Posted 04/15/2016 9:03 pm It's hard for me to give advise on keeping $100's without knowing your circumstances. The low serial, series 2009 just became available and distributed this year. There's no telling how many will be found/kept, but yours is the lowest serial number I've seen so far. The series 2009A radar is a three digit radar, and recently only really nice CH-CU $100's with two digit, radar serial numbers, or super radars are bringing much of a premium. Personally, and respectfully, I wouldn't pay a premium for them, and who's to say what the future will bring. I personally do not collect modern,Fancy $100's unless it's serial #12 .
