1897 "1 In Neck" Variety?

I won this auction under the suspicion that the 1897 cent was a Snow-1 variety (1 in neck), but can't be sure. What are your opinions on its authenticity? Also it seems to have spent some time in the ground, what do you think I could get for it?

Yeah, it's a 1 in the Neck. Not worth much due to the heavy corrosion. From past ebay sales that I have seen, a problem free Good example will usually sell around the $20 mark, so this one would be considerably less.

For me, sometimes it's not about the value, just being able to find varieties like this is fun!
