I am hoping someone has a great internet resource for seeing what the Original Government Packaging (OGP) looks like for the different coin sets since 1982? Especially half dollars.

It is very easy to find mintage information for anything and everything modern commemorative, including half dollars.

But I am having trouble finding out what form the original packaging came in, for some cases.

I am having the most trouble on the Uncirculated half dollars.

For instance-- the 1995 Civil War Battlefields.

Did it come in a "box", similar to the proof version? Most years for the modern half come in both proof boxes and uncirculated boxes-- even if the uncirculated comes inside plastic cello within the box. But I can't find one for this year. I have seen the Young Collector books with unc. I have seen coin and stamp with the unc. But not a box.

In fact, I am having similar trouble with all years 1993-1996 for modern half dollars. Did any of them just come in a capsule inside a box, like in earlier and later years?

I have not found them in online searching, but I have also not found a definitive list of what packaging comprised the mintage amount for unc. half dollar modern coins in a given year.

Do any of you know a resource for this information?

Looking for something that shows for any given year the full mintage broken across all the different varieties.

Like:
1995 Civil War Battlefields
2,000 in Young Collector
3,000 in 2 coin Unc. Set with Silver Dollar
3,008 in Coin and Stamp packaging
4 in a box

Thanks for any help!

That is what I was looking for-- thank you!
For the life of me I could not find that information on the mint website. It took me 30 times 10 seconds to find it, even after you let me know it was there.

Now that I have, it clears up some things-- like why it is so hard to find the plain old uncirculated coin in a gov't airtite in a cardboard box. I would prefer those, over the other forms, because I like consistency in my collection and want little square boxes for each of the 20+ specimens.

Now the new mystery...I will have to go figure out the difference between B46, "Half Dollar Uncirculated" and B34, "Half Dollar Uncirculated- Encapsulated". It gives me something to do. But even combined, they do not equal the number of Young Collectors or the combined numbers of the multi-sets. At least now I know why they are so hard to find for sale.
