Was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this Barber dime. As always I appreciate everyone's thoughts.

Looks pretty good overall, but the jaw-line looks a bit rough. I'd say low AU (50 to 53).
Rest in Peace

Does anyone think it's been cleaned? Looks like black stuff in the nooks and crannies, but maybe not. Otherwise looks low AU

I don't see a cleaning here unless it was done a long time ago . Nice coin in my opinion .

I do. Carbon spotting settling in on the obverse at 10:00, staining around the edges of the obverse relief and the dirt in the nooks and crannies as you've stated. It's too bright overall on the devices to be fully original. For some there's "market acceptable", for others there's "cleaned" and not fully original.

This is good photography IMO.

What's the price point?

This is a PCGS graded AU-53 problem free coin. No cleaning. I appreciate everyone's thoughts. I paid EF-40 money for it so I'm happy. Gorgeous coin in hand.

Carbon spotting occurs on many coins whether cleaned or not. I would think that this piece looks original to me.
